The Fruits of my Labor- From the vine to the plate...Mmmm

It's taken a couple months to get the garden going but after lots of work, I finally got to enjoy the fruits of my labor... Tomatoes! It's not Michelle Obama's vegetable garden but I love it just the same. Home grown tomatoes straight off the vine are A LOT sweeter than any tomato I've ever had!!! It doesn't take much to grow your own tomatoes -  full sun, water and (organic) soil.

Tomato Plant

I picked four ripped tomatoes this morning!

I would love to start a garden, but I am scared of the bugs...has that been an issue for you?

  2. Not really cuz i have pset control that comes every 3 months. but maybe you can start with growing herbs in the kitchen (buy a few pots and start with basil and mint leaves for tea) and then get a tomato grower which hang from anywhere. I even saw them at a CVS. Its more work than i thought it would be to start a garden but its so far very rewarding. I think your gonna love it Eb!

  3. Hello TeL,I also heard that there is a pest control that is harmful for bugs but not to the crops a person grows. would you happen to know the name of it. I think that would be very helpful to ebony and myself. thank you and keep up the fantastic work! I will stay posted to all that you do.
